The Genetic Park: Day 1 part 2
“Hey, Tom, come on out and pick up your bars,” Mike’s voice called me. I grabbed my keycard, that had been ejected from the machine and walked out and, half concerned as I was, stumbled and almost fell.
“Haha, easy there pal. Did the shot made you woozy?” Mike smirked. I heard the sound a vending machine made when it spat out some food. Alongside the wall next to my booth was a small wicker basket with a couple of small bars from the open slot, the calorie bars we needed to gain the extra mass.
“Mike, mind helping me? I got four bars,” Zack said, just outside his boot
